As a tiny gnome, you explore the small world, taking on quests while increasing your skills in mining, logging and fishing.

That's it! You can go play right now! The NPCs will teach you the basics, but feel free to read the below hints if you're stuck on your gnomeventure.

Additional info and hints:

1. Materials are typically somewhat colour coded. Rare: blue. Fabulous: Pink. Fabled: Red.
   (Fabulous fish is green, but it has a pink stripe, so it totally counts. )
2. Your combat level goes up as your other skills improve - you use the same tools for gathering and combat, after all! Your tool upgrades are also vitally important for your attack strength. If you aren't able to defeat an enemy, gather some materials to level up and upgrade your tools, then try again. 
3. Make sure you pick the right attack for the job when facing an enemy. If your opponent has a dagger, they're probably going to use a stab attack, so go for a slash attack to beat it!
4. While you're out and about, you can check the materials required for upgrading, as well as your todo list, by clicking the buttons in the bottom right, above the inventory. 
5. The bank can be used to store your items. Quest-givers and blacksmiths can use what's in your bank, so there's no need to take materials out again - once it's in there, it's safely stored forever. 
6. The main goal of the game is to explore the whole world, which will allow you to discover more resources to eventually upgrade your tools all the way to Fabled Tools. 
7. While the area of the world you can explore will start very small, as you complete quests and upgrade your tools, you will find more paths will open for you. 
8. The progression is non-linear, so feel free to upgrade your tools in any order.
9. If you hit a dead-end, try retracing your footsteps and trying a new path, especially if you've recently upgraded your tools.
10. As you expand outwards, traversal speed will become more important, so remember upgrading your armor will increase your speed greatly!
11. There are five special fruits throughout the world that are needed to upgrade to the fabled tools, so keep an eye out!
12. Enemies can only be battled from the left - it's only polite. 
13. Kill all goblins.
